- Ensuring the communication of the GAP-RDA with other countries and international organisations and maintaining cooperation with relevant organisations for the effective use of the EU programme and structural instruments,
- Closely following developments relating to EU’s regional development goals and strategies and renewing goals and strategies of the Administration accordingly,
- Closely following developments in the context of the process of Turkey’s full accession to the EU,
- Activating the protocols of cooperation that the Administration has acted with international organisations and taking initiatives for new partnerships,
- Taking part in study tours and meetings with foreign missions and delegations visiting the GAP Region and producing reports concerning these activities in collaboration with relevant units,
- Making necessary preparations for such activities as international meetings and seminars that the Administration is going to participate,
- Conducting project development and fund raising activities needed to achieve regional development targets,
- Developing a standard project format to serve as a basis for project design and background information.
