Adaptation to Social and Economic Life of Syrian Women Living in the Southeastern Anatolia Region Project

The project implemented by GAP Regional Development Administration with the technical support of UNDP and funded by Government of Kuwait in Gaziantep, Kilis, Mardin and Şanlıurfa. The aim of this project was to be adapted to social and economic life in the region of women living in the Southeastern Anatolia Region. Project duration was 18 months and budget was 250.000 $.

Within the project the service provided to Syrian women with ÇATOM (Multi-Purpose Community Centres) in Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa and Mardin carried out and in coorperation with other non-governmental organizations.

Within the project Turkish language education, income generating activities, workshops, home economics, execution kitchen activities, health education, psycho-social support, health of women, self improvement and social-cultural activities etc. avtivities carried out. The project implemented between March 2016- December 2017.
